While I chased the shade around the garden (and avoided my children!). My mum’s garden has a wild woodlands feel about it rather than a manicured staid atmosphere. I was inspired by the shapes and lines of the various leaves and flowers. I was equally drawn to the traditional flowers as I was to the ones considered weeds… perhaps because I am myself named after a weed, well a wild herb, pennyroyal.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe shapes and lines in the hydrangeas, convolvulus and ivy were my favorite plants to draw and became the basis for this collection. My favorite way to create is to draw the shapes in black pen first and then add colour afterwards.
